Grain futures were lower Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery was 2.25 cents lower at $3.9320 a bushel; December corn was 2.25 cents lower at $3.46 bushel; December oats was .50 cent higher at $1.8160 a bushel; while November soybeans lost 7.25 cents to $9.5620 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .33 cent lower at $1.0223 a pound; October feeder cattle was .43 cents lower at $1.2758 pound; October lean hogs gained .05 cent to $.4868 a pound.
