SAN CARLOS PARK, Fla. — U.S. 41 is back open after a crash involving a motorcycle and a white Volkswagon Jetta briefly closed all northbound lanes just south of Alico Road in San Carlos Park, authorities from the San Carlos Fire District said.
The closure was between the intersections with Michael G. Rippe Parkway and Alico Road. The motorcyclist, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
